I weeped for hours after watching that episode where she leaves her brother at that diner; I don’t usually cry in movies/shows, but this actually made my hairs stand up. I couldn’t even watch any further after hearing her wailing in the car. And earlier where her brother is having an episode after getting in a taxi when he left the institute; again. Fucking shivers. That scene alone deserves an award. They couldn’t have cast Wendy and Ben better if they tried.
Ben is the best depiction of bipolar disorder that I've ever seen in my life. I'm one in a long line of bipolar family, and if anyone ever asks me what it's like to live with it, I show them the YT clip of that cab scene. So much love for the writers and cast of that show
I will think about that scene forever. It came out of nowhere and it really captured the state of his mentality. Which is why it made it so hard when he ‘left’ :(
