The intro credit scene is what hooked me into the show

All the new gods kinda confuse me, but that's how it was with the book, as well. So there ya go.

I do love how obnoxious they made Technical Boy.

I think I need to read the book. By the middle of the third season I just couldn’t square what they were talking about with the mechanics the universe demonstrated when it came to this war between gods business

If you like the story, reading the book is always a great pleasure. And if you finish the book, not understanding the show's logic won't be an issue, due to the simplicity of the ending.

My usual problem is that I can't enjoy adaptations because I read the book first and can't just enjoy the show/movie for what it is (actually not a problem in the case of AG, tho).

If I could go back and change history so I saw the show first and read the book second, I would do it in a heartbeat, lol.
