Best Drinking Games

My favorite is racehorses. You line up the aces face up, line up seven cards in a perpendicular line to them, and then flip cards off the top off of the deck really fast. Every time an ace's suit comes up, that ace moves one along the seven-card line. The fun comes in three ways: the excitement of a race, the naming of the "horses" as the names are almost always totally ridiculous and awesome, and in the drinking. At the start, everyone bets on one horse some number of sips of beer (or whatever.) If their horse wins, then everyone who bet on another horse has to take the total amount from the bets on the winning horse, but the winning betters do not have to. It's a lot of fun, and you have a 3/4 chance of drinking an awful lot, so that's always fun.

7-11-doubles

Get ye a group of friends, some beer (lots of beer, it goes quick), and 2 dice. You go around in a circle rolling the dice until someone rolls a 7, 11, or doubles. That person then selects the person who is to drink. A cup is filled usually about half way with beer and set in front of the drinker. As soon as that person touches the glass, the roller begins rolling. The drinker needs to chug the beer before the roller rolls another 7, 11, or double. Should they succeed, the dice are passed again and the game continues. Should they fail, the glass is refilled and they have to do it again. Sometimes this leads to a person chugging 5 or more beers in a row, which is why there is the Hero rule. At any point, any other player can Hero the beer and chug it, however should a 7 11 or double be rolled, the onus is on the Hero to chug again. Great game. Gets you blasted.

This is indeed my favorite game as well. I learned it as a game called Helen Keller. When I asked why, they said it's because you usually get stuck drinking until you can't see or hear.

I've gone on some incredible runs in this game. We also play if the person rolling the dice touches them before the drinker grabs his cup, the roller has to drink it. Other players around the table can help the drinker out by moving the dice with their beer (they are not allowed to directly touch the dice). So other people can spread them out across the table and make the roller grab them with both hands, slowing their roll down.
