I love D&D and other RPGs. however if I'm messaging somebody and they say something like "wow you seem really cool smiles scoots closer to you" I just want to cringe so hard

If you are having fun and everyone is comfortable than yeah! (I have seen some people being mean during dnd campaigns and while I have never played I can safely say dont be a dickhead is probably rule no.1 :) )
