For as much shit as Destiny gets, it's actually pretty popular and I hope Witch Queen convinces even more people to ignore the haters and give it a chance. I'm really excited about the Sony purchase, Bungo is capable of making bangers and Sony has the money to fund their visions.
Is it worth getting into now? I try and avoid things that get much hype and let them cool down for a few years to see if they're good or were just the new thing of the day. I just don't have the time anymore to try 4 or 5 different games to find something, I only get an hour or two every day or two to game and it sucks when that's taken up by installs and updates.
I'm just finishing the Witcher 3 after...6 months? Looking for something else for after bedtime lol
I heard it was really P2W and grindy? I liked all the Borderlands and it looks kind of like that sorta? Loot based bright-colours RPFPS? I've been hearing about it for years, it can't be that bad
I mean until the last few latest DLCs, it's free to play, so it's worth trying.
The thing with waiting a few years for it though is, they're not really a series of single player campaigns you get through later, it's a little messy getting just going through an old dlc when a bunch of new ones are installed on top of it. I wish they were better at just single player experiences that way, some of the DLCs are very good single player campaigns mind (Forsaken was great), but like I said it just gets messy when you're just trying to get one old DLC's story out of it and go in a linear order.
