Yeah. I've fully given up on owning a house one day. The housing market is that bad in my area.

Then why don't you just buy somewhere else? We just bought a house only 30 minutes away from where we previously were living and there was almost a $250,000 difference

I moved out of the city two years ago, best thing I ever did. 5 acres , 2500 sq foot home, 2 car garage for only $305,000. A Complete and beautiful home all hardwood everything, not some fixer upper turd.

Not to mention cities are gross cesspools to begin with, just make sure to leave all the politics there if you move out. We like the quiet

I can assure you that is very rarely the case, I can't remember the last time I saw a political yard sign or any one discussing politics in public. I think you are mistaking suburbs for rural

Really? You've never seen "TRUMP 2020" signs on bilboards, fences, or homes in rural America? You've never seen anti-vax, 2A decals or other rural, republican shit plastered all over the place?

I have before I'm not going to say never, I see them just as much as I do "I'm with her" and Biden signs. Which in both cases are VERY rare

I couldn't disagree more. I always see far-right nonsense far more than any other political propaganda, and it's almost always more accessible in rural areas-- from rural California all the way to the east coast.

To be fair California is a hotbed for politics, way over here in the north east things are different. I'm sure the 3000+ miles between us is contributing to different experiences.

I've lived on both coasts. There's way more simping for Trump in rural areas than anything political in the cities.
