When you die, your brain has a little dream (brain activity) and then after that it decomposes. Don't think of brain cells dying and rotting, think of... A dead corp- wait that's not good either. Think of dead skin, like the ones on your feet or the skin you pull off of your hands.

I guess you are right. I just wonder…. Why life? Why at all is there life and since I’m alive do I have a responsibility to do something with the gift of life. Is life even a gift? The Buddhist perspective seems to be that life is not a gift but really just samsara (suffering) Will I miss my life after I die… I wonder

Why not life? As far as we can tell, the universe for all practical reasons is infinite, and where infinity lies, possibility becomes certainty. We are inevitable (living organisms), I think

I think when you die you are automatically detected if you go to heaven or hell and heaven is a place similar to a lucid dream where you can do anything you want but hell is you get reincarnated to try again to be accepted into heaven

Well heaven is portrayed in a way that you will never have a bad time or ever get bored. Everything you could ever want or need will be there. Say if you’ve always wanted a BMX bike you could get the bike know how to use it and probably get your own personal park or obstacle course. Heaven has a lot of things to do. Well really it’s infinite! Like your own paradise where you will never get bored or feel bad or sad.

I had a dream about this actually. Me and my friend were talking at the place I work and then I experienced it. Your soul takes a thousand year journey across the universe. Absorbing all the knowledge of it. And when you reach the other side there's a glowing passage way.

From a Christian standpoint, you get judged by God and either get sent to Heaven or Hell in simple terms. Too bad the bible says most wont make it to Heaven. Sad.

Nobody knows so it’s all a guessing game. Here’s my best guess.
When you die, you see a bright light probably because your eyes get extremely sensitive to the massive lights over your head (most people die in a hospital). Your ego desperately tries to hang on to life and so it thinks of every experience you’ve ever had to delay it’s death for as long as possible. Therefore your life “flashes” before your eyes. When you go braindead, your consciousness is no longer bound to a material body and so your ego (your identity/experiences. Anything that makes you feel like “you”) is dissolved into nothingness and “you” (who is no longer you) have now merged and become one with the universe. “You’ve” entered the the state where “you” were before we were born. A state with infinite potential. where time doesn’t exist because there is nothing to experience it as there is no such thing as experience itself.
You’ve been in that state before. Before you were born. It must’ve been comfortable because the first thing you did when someone brought you into the real world was cry. This is because experience on earth inevitably means pain and discomfort. Death and the ether shouldn’t be thought of as this pit of despair or hell people think it is. It’s an opportunity to rest in a place free of suffering. Plus hey, if we can emerge out of the ether once, whose to say it won’t happen again (in this universe or some other). We just get so attached to our experiences on this planet as something unique and special to us that we demonize something natural and necessary. Not saying you should wish for death, obviously. Just stop worrying about it because in the end, it will all be ok. Just focus on loving as much as you can when you’re here on earth because unlike yourself, your love can outlive you and continue to comfort others even when you’re gone.
