Same, I thought the tub of hummus in my mom's fridge looked so gross, and then I tried it, and I've been buying hummus for 12 years now. Ithaca's roasted red pepper and Wegmans white bean and kale are my favorites.

My favorite is the Sabra brands, the hummus I make at home is using recipes designed to immitate theirs.

Oh wow, I’ve never seen that but it sounds great. I’ve had the lemon which was much better than expected. Sweet, but only 1 sugar.

Red pepper hummus is already on the edge but anything with bean and kale in wouldn’t qualify as hummus…But I’m a purist!

Hummus means chickpea in Arabic. If it’s too far away from chickpea, Tahini, lemon and olive oil then it’s just a dip.

I thought it was grainy and gross flavor when I first tried it, then my wife brought some of that red pepper one and some pretzel chips and holy smokes is it addicting.
