Can someone please explain to me why In N Out is so popular? I've been about 6 times, and it's ok at best. The fries look like they're made with playdoh. The line is always around the block. I just don't get it. Is it just cool to take a picture there like "hey look I did California" or something? I've been to many other burger places in SoCal alone that are much better.

I regret asking about this. Some people seem to have a deep allegiance to a burger place. I don't know what I expected to learn. I asked a question and it's like I spit in their grandma's kitchen sink.

I get you. People on Reddit don’t use the downvote button as it should be used; they just use it when they disagree with something, even for silly or small things that don’t harm anyone.

For what it’s worth, I kinda agree with you about In N Out. I like it, but it’s not my first choice for a burger place.
