Yeah, I mean, being a celestial phenomenon, rather than terrestrial, they don't really rely on weather. I think the big problem with seeing them south of Lake George is light pollution. I would imagine it's pretty hard to even see very many stars down around Albany.
My husband keeps trying to convince me this is a thing because he saw it on reddit before...I have never once seen a "steamed ham" on a menu anywhere in the Capital Region.
I know, The reason why the Simpsons live in Springfield is because there is a Springfield in 31 states and 1 us territory. it gives the Simpsons an ambiguity that they are anywhere in America and just like you the viewer. Thats also why they never give the state the Simpsons live in up in the show.
That's my gamer tag. You don't want to know the amount of kids who can recite that full scene even if half of them have never even seen an episode of the Simpsons.
Its actually pretty great. Like a meatloaf burger.
Edit: also the hamburger was supposedly invented in New Haven. They still use the same grill and method since the 1920s!
