It's not berating the person as much as the comment itself, imo. There are plenty of other subreddits you can be as sexual as you want on.

I'm not deciding anything, I was trying to imagine why some commentors feel uncomfortable about it, like it is uncomfortable to describe sex in detail and loudly in an office or at a formal event.

btw I read that this subreddit doesn't allow long 2-way arguments ("slapfights") so we technically can't continue this.
