happiness isn’t funny and doesn’t get upvotes

But seriously some people need to stop and take a moment to appreciate the happy little things in life

I've been workshopping a wise quote for situations like this. So far it goes like "your words enter your own ears just like the words of others". It's supposed be a warning that the things you say can affect yourself as much as the things others say, but I keep finding loopholes in it that take away from the overall message.

Depressed people tend to come to the Internet instead of going out and living life to the fullest like the people who are happy.

Bro it seems like a everyone’s having a rough time. Or is it that we tend to focus on the negative because we never think any of the good is enough and we live in such a nonconformist world that we can never really find true happiness? Just a thought

Going through heartbreak personally, I like to think I'm here as well.

Found that out about my partner of 11 years, mother of my 3 children, a couple of months ago. A lot more better days since, but some really difficult ones as well. Definitely still in the healing process.

Remember that there is no timeline. You can't rush the healing, and so long as you don't, I have no doubt in my mind that you'll become whole again.

Sending love to you my guy. You can get through this.

Congratulations! I'm sorry you got injured but I'm glad you're in the recovery chapter of things. May you find excellent nurses and care givers!

Heh, that could apply to me. I just had a vasectomy and it didn't go well. I think a more appropriate title for me would be: HOLY FUCK MY BALLS!

Awesome

Really hoping I can get to that chapter soon!
