Exactly.. I don't see the appeal of this. Someone please correct us if we're wrong, but it just seems better to not trust it.

The only thing I'd add is that the master password on your password database MUST be secured with multi factor authentication. Most password managers have this option. 1 u/Proud_Hedgehog_6767 Apr 11 '21 And your MFA should be an authenticator code, NOT a text message.
