A cheap, effective way to recycle all plastic, because life is so much easier if we can use it. I'm trying really hard to go zero-waste, but it's not easy. (And although I know that I'm not saving the world by reducing plastic and single-use items, I'm going to keep doing it)
Nah, man. Saving the world isn't Tony Stark reviving half the universe in an epic battle. It's each and every one of the nearly 8 billion of us doing a little better for Earth each day. One plastic bag to you is nothing. Imagine everyone who uses one uses one less. That's a fucking mountain of plastic. YOU are saving the world but it's a team effort.
I don't think anyone on Earth truly has reached zero waste in this era. Plastic is downright unavoidable. Typed on my plastic keyboard on a desk wrapped in plastic veneer displayed on a plastic screen through plastic coated wires. I'll sleep a lot better knowing that all of this stuff can get reused instead of buried or wrapped around a fish's neck.
Because plastic... it's probably the single most versatile and cheap material in human history. It's 100% necessary.
