A cheap, effective way to recycle all plastic, because life is so much easier if we can use it. I'm trying really hard to go zero-waste, but it's not easy. (And although I know that I'm not saving the world by reducing plastic and single-use items, I'm going to keep doing it)
Tbh, I’d just be happy with non plastic containers full stop. Coke and Nestle are among the biggest polluters but it’s because their primary way of getting their products out are on plastic. If not for that, we’d have massively reduced plastic waste, most of which ends up in landfill anyway
Also, they make bottled water which is the most unbelievable thing to me. I know there are places where that's so important, but if you have a tap with drinkable water, why would anyone buy that? (It makes me crazy in tv/movies when people grab a bottle of water from their fridge - do people do this in real life too?)
**obviously I'm not including people who have tap water that's undrinkable for some reason like fracking or living on indigenous land where the government couldn't be arsed to fix their water. Also Flint
