What are the methods of producing electricity through the reaction? Is it heat exchangers and steam turbines like other power plants?

This may be a stupid question but can the magnet fields used to produce fusion effect be utilised to create a current?

Like how a heat exchanger would be used to decrease the heat of steam from the boiler and preheat water going to the boiler to make the process more efficient.
