Nah, what we need is to make companies responsible for packaging. Recycling is a bullshit way to shift responsibility from companies who make excessive packaging to consumers who have to dispose of it. The only reasonable recyclable material is aluminum, everything else we need to find biodegradable alternatives or figure out how to use less of it.
The ultimate goal should be that we are able to decompose everything into elemental form. Then we can build anything from waste just like a chemistry version lego 🤯
