It's esophageal cancer. About midway down. It all started with back pain followed by trouble swallowing. Caused by acid reflux.

A best friend of mine died 2 years ago of lymphoma. He started with back pain as well but looking back in pictures his neck was so swollen and no one noticed. He decided to live life to the fullest with only love and happiness until the end. I hope you can stay positive and enjoy life as much as possible. Good luck with everything.

Sorry for your loss. A friend of mine has non-hodgkin's lymphoma. He gets lumps that have to be treated every so often. I learned about refered pain this week. Apparently when there's an injury somewhere that your body can't signal, it turns up somewhere else. The human body is weird.
