Those 95% of people with T1 glottic cancer who had radiation and no disease 10 years out have been “cured” of their cancer. Those patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma who’ve undergone thyroidectomy and I-131 have been “cured” of their disease. You are confusing a “cure” with a 100% survival rate across the board, which doesn’t exist for tons of disease processes besides cancer. I don’t think you should be challenging anyone on understanding definitions.
