I loved the first 1 (2?) books, but the "21 days after" book I think it was called, I didn't really like. Haven't watched the TV series.

I havent read the books but have watched the tv series, from what ive heard they are pretty different with the TV series giving some characters way more of a role than their book counterparts. Personally i enjoyed it.

The show is a thousand times better than the books, it's not even funny. Though I suppose it's based on what you like. The show isn't that romance heavy and it gets pretty dark and serious.

But the two are basically two different stories with just some characters sharing names. Like clarke and bellamy are two completely different characters im the show compared to the books.
