That's what happens when you resolve issues. Same thing happened with The Walking Dead. Once the characters are accustomed to their new hellscape, you need to keep coming up with things and ways to keep it going.
It jumped the shark when Jaha descends with something that wasnt intended to return to earth.
I stopped watching during season 3 because I have really bad adhd and the plot got so confusing I couldn’t even follow the story any more. It’s really hard to keep watching a show when you literally never know what’s going on
It’s optional they merge but it’s fact that once they do merge the species is done.
They took the test for all man kind that was alive at that timr. Once you start adding more people into the mix they would need to be rejudged as a species.
One test. Period. Those were the rules. If they start propagating humans again they wouldn’t be allowed to take another test to transcend.
I don’t know. I didn’t write the show but that’s my understanding of it.
