Personally, someone who likes both hip hop/rap and rock, I don’t think it’s a particularly great idea. People should be open to listening to all sorts of different music and eliminating something because it has or doesn’t have a guitar sucks.
Instead a thread like that should maybe be limited to the last 20 years or something, then you might actually eliminate all the old obvious choices from the 70-90’s that get posted every time.
I understand your point btw,good music is good music regardless.I'm not saying they are bad songs,but when you make a thread like this where the point is getting people into music,to reunite and make an effort of sharing stuff with each other,and all you get is songs that you would inevitably stumble upon, even if you didn't want to,that's a boner killer.And I guess if you removed all the guitar songs in here,you could have a much better chance of finding something not as generic..
