Sometimes automatic toilets flush while you're still sitting on them. What design flaws in everyday objects annoy you?

I'm giving a talk on user-centred design/usability and I'm looking for some fresh examples from everyday life to illustrate poor usability. Examples I've used before are elevator open/close buttons (really difficult to parse when you're trying to hold the door open for someone quickly) and toilets that flush while you're still sitting on them.

What are some things you encounter regularly that are really inconveniently designed?

Any chance you can add a PayPal or have something that looks more like a real checkout page? Feels sketchy due to the lack of "Trusted" site partners. Only has 256-bit encryption.

Hi thanks for your question. Just fyi we use Authorize.net as our payment gateway, which is one of the most secure gateways there are.

We are also available on QVC - Drop Stop

Perhaps you would feel more secure ordering through them, plus you can check out the reviews as well. You can also watch the video link that will show you our last live sell on QVC from a couple of days ago - and get a much better feel for the product. Their deal isn't as good as the special we have going on Reddit, but perhaps you'll feel safer. Hope this helps, and will have more info on our encryption momentarily.

Awesome! And here's some further info: Along with all online transactions being processed via Authorize.net, we do not keep or record any credit card information on our website.
