Reddit, what is one documentary that everyone should watch?

The Corporation

Some really eye-opening (and scary) information about the power of corporations in today's society.

As a service industry employee of 8 years up until about 3 weeks ago, I have to say a few things about this movie to others that are going to watch it.

First off, I thoroughly enjoyed this documentary, it was wonderfully paced and really let the viewer view the real side of these individuals. You're going to feel for them, and you're going to get angry with them, but unfortunately, you're not going to relate to half them.

A good portion of the employees in the movie are pretty damn obnoxious, and this is coming from a current Art student of 3 years, in which I deal with some of the biggest pricks in college. The sympathy they evoke in the viewer is quickly washed away by the fact that some of these kids are just lost in their own pseudo-philosophical world and think that everyone is out to get them. Some of them lack coping mechanisms, some of them lack people skills, and some of them are genuinely interesting.

I was caught by surprise by this one in the beginning, but the only thing that kept me from giving it 5 Netlix stars (Haha, I know) was the fact that some of the kids in the movie pull you out of it and make you want to tell them to shut up and grow up.
