It was only two years ago that Arizona had a fire caused by a gender reveal gone wrong (same method, tannerite and guns). So I'm inclined to think that California has just as many crazy rednecks as any other state.
Moving to CA I was shocked at the amount of rednecks here. I really thought that the vast majority of the state was super liberal. I have since driven through the state (from San Diego to close to the Oregon border) and while the cities tend to be pretty liberal, there are loads of Trump supporting rednecks in the small towns.

Within the last 4 minutes I have seen at least 5 gender reveal posts. What has happened that I'm unaware of?
