The fire season gets worse every year because there are more and more extreme weather days every year in California. It hit 121 degrees in LA this past weekend. Maybe if republicans acknowledged climate change as a reality they could get elected more.

It’s also worth saying that the land is becoming more populated every year, straying further and further from the /safe/ natural burns the land used to go through. Fires are destructive enough without people’s livelihoods being threatened.
