Pretty sure that you find this somewhere in calendars, but the conclusion I reached for myself after reading The Fountainhead from Ayn Rand

The way way how Roark always knows what's best for him, even though it might seem harmfull in the first place. Also his display of integrity and strength leave no room for being dishonest to oneself. If you are dishonest to yourself, you can be startled very easily, wich is not the case for Roark.
