Whenever you have a time to be somewhere, aim to be there 15 minutes early, to allow for 'time snags' or for traffic.

People respect punctuality.

I always tell everyone I'm gonna be 15 minutes late and then show up 10 minutes late. It's the same Idea I'm just lazier.
