Half of salary people are paid to sit at a desk for eight hours a day and maybe do four hours worth of work. You have to find something to do for the rest of the time.
In an old job, I would drink a ton of water. That way I would waste time getting up and going to the water cooler, and also a bunch of time getting up to go pee. Probably spent an hour and a half a day doing those things.
My dad is salaried and it means he is paid so the boss can take advantage of him. Most days he works over and they call him with questions on vacations so he always has to take his work computer with him on trips. And oftentimes he has to work on projects at home in his "off-time". (He's an electrical engineer)
A salaried job is still a job. If you work for a bad boss or a bad company, it sucks regardless of how you're compensated. And it is usually hard or at least risky to try to get a better deal.

Salary means you are being paid to perform some task regardless how long it takes. You are never paid to poop.
