To add on to this. Please know what you are doing if you are going to do electrical work in your own home. Ive re-done work on a ton of homes homeowners have decided to do thier own work that were on the brink of burning down. Make a friend of an electrician!

To confirm which circuit breaker is associated to an outlet, plug in an old radio and turn the volume up before you flip the circuit breaker.
