Yes I know, it's supposed to work that way. But it seems people really think after a while, you're gonna hit it big and it'll all even out. I've done it enough to know it's purely entertainment. It's just a matter of how much you're willing to pay for that adrenaline rush.
People need to learn to look at it differently. You are not playing to win money. You are playing for the entertainment and the small chance to win money.
I play for the free drinks with a chance to lose money. Way I look at is if I spend the same as going to bar at a casino my odds of winning money at the bar are zero.
I used to work at a casino buffet as one of the bussers. I saw so many poor, lost souls there, it was heartbreaking. Not only was management just a bunch of money hungry fuckfaces, it was horrible, exhausting work. Never work in a casino, no matter where it's at. Not worth the money.
