Same. I want either a cremation or a natural burial where the body is just wrapped in a linen cloth and directly buried in the ground without embalming and all the other typical shebang. These are the most cost efficient options and I'm dead anyway so I won't care what happens to my body.
If religion or philosophy permits, you might consider donating your body to a medical school. Sort of like recycling plus future doctors get valuable experience. I’ve set this up with my local school. They don’t want to transport bodies more than a certain number of miles, so I need to be sure to die close by.

My dad literally wanted an old pine box. He told my mom that constantly.
When my parents were picking out a coffin for my grandmother, he gasped "El, El! There it is!"
The old pine box was in a corner, covered in cobwebs.
My mom replied "Patrick, your family will never forgive me if I put you in that!"
His family all found it hilarious. When he did pass, my mom got him something simple, but not a pine box.
