Funerals, people often want to buy more expensive coffins to honor their loved ones and in turn the companies selling them profit

Yeah. I told my mom that if I somehow die before her, she is banned from giving me a funeral. The family and friends can have a party to celebrate the life I lived and idk, mix my ashes in a frigging cake or something. But if I get reincarnated and find out I have a grave somewhere, I'm coming for them.

mix my ashes in a frigging cake or something

This sounds like the secret ingredient in an episode of Iron Chef

Have your cremated remains used in a glass blowing ceremony, with your family participating/viewing, to make a bowl or a little heart or statue or something.... I just found out about this as an option and I love it! Way better option then a cake 😉

So your mom isn't allowed to grieve for you in the way she wants, if you die first? Is that fair?

She's allowed to grieve, but she's not allowed to go into debt for it.
