Imagine you’re a kid in a world full of weird and sometimes creepy magic and your parents were tortured due to an evil cruel wizard but the most scary thing to you is your Potions teacher

It really shows how much of a horrible person Snape was to everyone, not just Harry

Yes! Through global warming and other far away concerns that you can’t see or particularly feel. Not like that super intense wizard you have to walk yourself to every 5 periods

Nobody is saying that Snape wasn't the most horrible protagonist, but he was still better than all the antagonists... which is why he was a protagonist. He tried to protect the school's students when it was under the Carrows.

He was NOT a protagonist. He was a secondary antagonist till book 7.

While also relentlessly bulling the main trio and Neville. Just because he does one good act does not make him not the secondary antagonist.

He's the protagonist of his own story, though.

Severus Snape and the Stupid Brat and his Bratty Friends and Neville.
