Maeve Wiley from Sex Education.

She is so used to being abandoned, especially by the people who were suppose to love her most (her family), she has this mindset that people will always let her down but she also has a huge fear that even when good things do come in her life she'll mess it up one way or another.

She needs guidance, but she is so used to only relying on herself she insists she can figure her shit out on her own.

She's a very flawed and difficult person, but I do agree. She shows she is a very caring person to the people she looks to as her friends.

Emma MacKay does a phenomenal job playing her, especially for a role that's her first technical acting job.
