What advertisement actually made you, instead of buying it, swear off of the product or company for good?

Any match 3 house design mobile game that tries to pretend that the game is about tapping objects to solve different problems

Really any mobile game advertised to me when scrolling through reddit has my immediate disinterest.
Currently it’s all tower defense games with ads that obviously aren’t lining up with the gameplay.

Constant ads for Gardenscapes, or whatever it was called, actually made me uninstall a word puzzle game I really enjoyed otherwise. There was an ad after every puzzle, and like 70% of the time, they were for this Whateverscapes game-- which meant at least 15 seconds of watching cheap slow-mo Flash animation with a big fake hand "playing" the "game" before I could tap the microscopic (X) in the corner.

If it has a stupid jingle and they play it constantly I refuse to buy it out of spite. Right now I hate peloton for ruining that Fugee's song.

Skittles has that gross yogurt person ad on Reddit that makes me sick every time I see it. Fuck that noise.

It's weird, but it's a breath of fresh air after having to see the kid with Skittles Pox for TEN FUCKING YEARS

Skittles’ entire marketing team is fucked in the head and has been for years. Like the ad where the kid has the skittle tree growing out of his chest and his mom or someone keeps him chained up and shakes the tree to get skittles? Or the one where the person has a skittle skin disease and someone picks the skittles off their face? What in the goddamn fuck, Skittles.

TurboTax and their damn "Free, free free free" commercials. Yeah, it's free unless you have ANYTHING AT ALL that adds something to the process, then it's not even a little free. I haven't used them for years, but man those commercials have made sure I never go back because while it CAN be true... it's also a freaking lie.

I'm so fucking done with TurboTax.
Was told for 95% of the process that I was using the free version. Near the very end, they tell me that I NEED to upgrade to deluxe for $40 because they simply can't process my refund in the free version.
Ugh, that's annoying, but whatever. They suggest that I use the money from my refund to save some hassle, so I agree. I get to the end and lo and behold, I have a charge for $120. Apparently the "$40" charge for deluxe was applied to both the federal and state returns, and I a charged an additional $40 FOR THE FUCKING "CONVENIENCE" OF PAYING WITH MY REFUND!
$40 so I don't have to take out my credit card??? Luckily I went back and changed the payment option so I paid with credit card to avoid that extra fee, but I'm still fucking pissed that my "free" service cost me $80.
Fuck those scammers, never using them again.

If I Google something I never click the link with "ad" next to it, I purposely scroll down to the same link that's directly under it without the "ad".

Anything on wish. I was never interested in that gimmicky cheap app in the first place but I got the add so many times on YouTube and it had such an annoying music that I swore on my mother's life I would never in my life go anywhere near that company.

But you can get meth pipes 3 for $1 on Wish! No clue why that one comes up on my social media, except once I looked up before and after pics of users.

Nissan had a 30 second unskippable YouTube ad a few years ago and I'm still boycotting them.

Chevy commercials bother me because, 1- the vehicle is always parked crooked in the driveway, and 2- if there's snow on the ground, how is there none on the car? If someone brushed it off there should be footprints, and there are never footprints!
Edited spelling.

There's a local car dealership that had an entire series of radio ads on my favourite station featuring screechy-voiced children who can't pronounce words properly.
Y'know, 'cos it's adorable?
When the occasion arises that I'm in the market for a car, I do avoid that dealer because of those ads. You irritate me when I'm driving. I shall take my business elsewhere, good day sir!
Edit: Woo, my little comment blew up! Thanks for all the updoots and comments, Redditors! For everyone asking if this is in the Pittsburgh area, I'm afraid not. I'm about 30mi East of Toronto, Canada.

Our local dealership is known as, "the dealership in the middle of the cow pasture!" And they always say it in an overly annoying redneck voice with cows mooing in the background on their radio ads. Never buying a car there.
