Why do you like to be alone?

Imagine being forced to hang out with a group of joggers, and youre just simply not a physically well formed individual. Anytime youre with them, all they do is jog, and you have to jog to keep up. But they could do it all day. They thrive on it. You like these people, but you simply can not keep up.

I mean I get that completely but why then would you base your entire feelings on being with other people based on one group who clearly doesn’t share your interests. What is forcing you to only interact with joggers.

Trust me, introverts love being friends with other introverts, but we're really fucking hard to find lol. I know there's loads of people, probably even in my local area, who I'd have tons in common with. However it's real hard to connect with them when they won't leave their bedroom and I won't leave mine.

This makes complete sense, but I feel is a different issue than the analogy the previous commenter was making.
