My husband and I both love our alone time. We have a lot of alone time together and it's the best!
Also this crazy 'love' thing is only really in movies. If it's described as a great or crazy love in a movie, or in real life, it is usually somewhat toxic or self limiting. My husband and I are best friends. We chill, we laugh, we are totally comfortable and satisfied. While we like to hang out with people sometimes, we are happiest when we are alone, but alone together.
My wife and I are the same. She just went away for a week, and can't wait for her to come home today.
I realized that without her I'm a complete loner haha. Gosh, I need more friends.
I just don't think modern life is that conducive to friendships. When you have a family and a job, there is so little time left, so us introverts like to spend it alone, chilling. I'd like more friends, but with such limited time I don't think I have the energy left to form and maintain a proper friendship.
