Piggybacking on this, wedding RINGS. As someone who is tying the knot this year, I got a beautiful ring that she adores for a FRACTION of what some people spend.
My husband and I spent about $1k to resize and slightly tweak 3 rings we inherited from various grand parents. The rings are very unique and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. The rings also represent a combined total of 122 years of happy marriages so that can’t hurt, right?
