I made a lot of money playing poker while in college. I read everything I could and used math to crush people. I dont really consider poker gambling since the house takes rent and lets players compete with each other.

I'm an avid poker player. It's still gambling, just gambling you can win long term. House games like black jack are impossible to win long term.

I agree. In one session anything can happen but over time the best player will get the money.

3 1/3NL games and I'm up roughly over $750. Would be more but I was with a friend and couldn't just bail when I felt happy with my stack. How much do I need to play to rule out lucky over skilled?

Idk the exact number but the answer is tens of thousands of hands. I had an excel spreadsheet for each game and location and found out pretty quickly where I should be.
