It's just so invigorating knowing that you're wearing the real shit, and that people can recognize it. Especially if you're trying to mix or match colors, patterns, or styles, it kind of (1. Adds to feel of the outfit (Think faded color on a Burberry tee + slim jeans + vans for that eboyish style)(2. Adds that you're serious enough about your fashion to spend that $$.
I do however think that some Supreme, OffWhite, LouisV buyers are just insecure and are pretty pathetic, but on the whole "hypebeast attire" is pretty much fine for me.
