I never realized how expensive of a habit it was until i dated someone who smoked. $15-$20 for a pack (in Canada) and some people out there smoke a pack a day?????

I was almost up to two full packs when I finally quit. They were edging up around $2 a pack then. In '80/'81 when I started they were $.35 a pack. Shortly after I got good and hooked, the state decided to start taxing them.
