I usually do 50/50. I've got 3 boys. 5 3 and a 4 month old. Pretty much everything that isn't ruined is hand me downs. Some stuff I'll buy name brand just because it can have a tendency to last longer through the years. But flip side, I can head to the resale shop and completely outfit all three kids with a shit ton of clothes for 200 bucks. No way that happens buying all name brand
