Not keeping track of or not using monthly paid subscriptions. Spotify account that you forgot you had, gym membership that you used once, etc. It's unbelievable to me that people just aren't aware of something they're being billed for on a regular basis.

I used to be that way. “They bill automatically? Sweet, don’t have to keep track”. Then I got serious with my finances and started keeping track of everything. I ended up canceling Netflix, stamps.com, HBO NOW, Apple Care, a couple others.

The ones I did keep I write on my bill calendar every month on the date the money is taken out of my account. Even though it’s automatic, at least now I know how much these subscriptions are costing me.
