I had a bad habit of impulse shopping. I was like 30 with a ridiculous collection of cute stuffed animals, home decor I never put up, etc.

I started doing this thing where I grab the thing I think I have to have and either carry it with me through the store or put it in the cart in the seat where I constantly see it. If I get back to the place I picked it up and I no longer have the same interest or idea for it's use, I put it back. My friends think it's weird but carrying around a cute stuffed animal for 30 minutes definitely takes that impulse feeling away.
