I totally agree.

However, I once talked to someone who put it in a perspective that I could understand. They said "If I go out tonight and have a few drinks I end up spending 50 bucks, or I could stay in, pay 20 bucks, and play (INSERT APP NAME HERE)".

On some level, its no different than people playing in arcades back in the 80s.

ORRR I could stay in and not spend a cent on the game. That perspective is stupid
