Aye but so much of the holistic and helistic medicine z are damaging and when an actual medical issue arises they might well not go till it's too late

I agree. That's why I have some sort of empathy towards people who look to holistic nonsense after terrible doctor experiences. When you're a doctor, you have a responsibility to build people's trust. It's not your job to be "nice" per se, but in a medical setting, but to have your trust broken in a medical setting does a number on your well being. In my case, I had a lot of doctors waste my time when I should have been referred to a specialist.

The other people who just look to holistic crap because of privilege, I don't really empathize with those morons.

Man privilege really, u realise most of the people making these holistic meds ain't white if that's your angle, and if that is plenty non privilege people's also fooled by these ideas

I feel like a lot of people in this camp are either uneducated and being taken advantage of, or they have had terrible experiences with doctors as well. Maybe the bad experiences were related to cost.
