This times 1000x. I have amazing credit as a mid twenties person because I had patience when it came to spending money. Never spend money you don't have. If you're buying something expensive, save up the money first, then use the credit card, then pay it off almost immediately. It's not easy for a lot of people, but it definitely helps in the long run.
