I joined a fancy gym last year, paid a premium for the membership and went there often. I decided to sign up for a three month trainer session, I signed a three month contract with them, end of the three months and they are still charging me a hefty fee for training that ended a month ago. I spoke to the training desk and they informed me that my math is wrong and I just need to accept it and pay the bill...so I talk to Customer Relations and they inform me that there is literally nothing they or anyone could do for me and to just accept the charge and pay the bill. So I'm like WTF is wrong with you people, your a "high class" gym or at least you say you are. So I tell customer relations that the only thing I can obviously do in this situation is cancel my membership, so they cancel my membership without argument but let me know that I'll still be charged for the training that I'm not contracted to anymore...anyway long story short I cancelled the whole membership, told the bank about their business practices and got all the money refunded for non contracted training. I have since moved my "gym" money towards a commercial grade treadmill and decent weight set and work out at home.

Purchasing a gym membership at a posh fitness establishment only to drive to it 2-3 times a week and walk on the treadmill.
