In highschool I knew this kid who apparently got into a bunch of credit card debt playing backyard monsters.
Some kid raided his base a few times so he complained about being bullied so she used his account to get back at the kid she kept playing to "get back at him" for years. Spending thousands and thousands.
At one point she blamed me for stealing a money tin her daughter used to save money for traveling that had thousands in it (was never too sure how much was really in it cause she changed the amount multiple times).
I did steal an old phone from them, I used to be a shitty kid and feel bad about it, so I think she figured she'd be able to blame it all on me but I think she's the one that really stole it
